Grand-mère Confections is a family-owned and operated business that specializes in handmade caramel and chocolate confections.

Grand-mère Confections is in the business of creating memories via delicious confections. Each sweet piece is made with care using only the highest quality ingredients.

The owner, Christine Wendel, began this exciting journey in honor of her Grandma Mary. Chris’ memories of her childhood in California’s central valley are filled with precious hours spent helping her grandma in the kitchen, especially when it came time to making caramels. These memories are as sweet as the caramels themselves. With so many family members, one batch was never enough.

The caramel recipe has been passed down for generations, from grand-mère (grandmother in French) to granddaughter, creating a timeless recipe and a special family tradition.

To this day, Chris continues the tradition of making the same mouthwatering caramels with her grandkids and adding her delicious Nut Clusters and English Toffee recipe to the mix.

With the encouragement of family and friends, Chris started Grand-mère Confections, happy to share her family’s legacy with the rest of the world.
